Project Summary
Charles H. Hodges & Son, Inc. was founded in Baltimore, MD in 1934 as a business dedicated to supplying and servicing material handling equipment in Washington Metropolitan area. CHH contacted us to do the full branding and identity of their company, as well as create a dynamic web presence.
CHH is a family-run business with a visible passion for sailing. We chose to incorporate that detail when we were developing their logo. The green "gear" has a dual resemblance to that of a captains wheel on a sailboat, which we thought was fitting.
We chose to use PureEdit as the content management system, allowing members of the company the ability to easily manage the content on their website, as well as update the site with industry related news articles.
As offered with all of our clients, we went on location with CHH to take photos of their loading dock installations which we used throughout the website. The website also features a custom service request form for setting up quick and easy communication between their potential customers and CHH.
