E-commerce website for a women's clothing and home goods boutique
Nectar strives to bring its customers clothing and accessories that add new life to any wardrobe. Owner Christine Short contacted Sunrise Design to market their brand and sell their products online while still maintaining a boutique feel to the whole shopping experience.
We made it our goal to make the site's visitors feel comfortable while on the website, and not feel lost like on big, superstore websites that are overloaded with content and distractions. We even "" the 6 most recently viewed products so that visitors can always go back and find an item that they recently "tried on". Since a lot of her items are unique and cut differently than the rest, we've made it easy for people to ask the store a question based on the product they are looking at and receive an immediate response.
She wanted the style of the website to reflect the "hand-selected" feel of the store. We achieved this goal by adding hand-drawn elements to the website, even bringing in professional illustrator Brian McAllister to help illustrate the store's second-in-command;. We would love for you to visit Nectar's website and experience the uniqueness of the boutique.
